The Land
The land itself
Our olives grow in the hills of Le Marche, around the old town of Fermo. It’s a landscape of rolling fields, sea breezes and long-held growing traditions. This is the land that shapes our oil, and the reason we chose it as the place to farm.
A landscape shaped by sea and mountains
Fermo sits between the Adriatic coast and the Sibillini mountains, creating a climate that’s unusually kind to olive trees. Warm days, cool nights and clean mountain air help the fruit ripen slowly, keeping its aroma and character. The soil is rich, the slopes drain well and the local growers have been tending olives here for generations.
Olives that belong to this region
We grow local varieties that have always thrived in this part of Italy: Leccio di Corno, Nostrale di Rigali, Ascolana Tenera and a handful of others well suited to the cool, hilly terrain. These trees produce fruit with natural freshness, gentle bitterness and a clean, peppery finish that’s typical of the Marche.
Working with the rhythm of the hill
Living and farming here has shaped how we think about food and care for the land. The countryside around Fermo changes with every season. It’s a place that rewards patience and good practice. Our role is simple: look after the soil, learn from the people who know it best, and make an olive oil that reflects this landscape as honestly as possible.
