Shufra di Shufra – Extra Virgin Olive Oil from a Family-Owned Farm in Fermo, Italy.
Shufra di Shufra is a small working olive farm in Le Marche. We grow local varieties that thrive in the hills around the historic town of Fermo. We harvest them at first light, so the olives reach the mill within hours, which keeps the oil bright and lively.
We also use ceramic bottles that protect the oil – and encourage you to reuse them.
Founded and run by musician Jonny Greenwood and his wife Sharona, we work with a tight local team who know the land well. Our aim is simple: to make honest extra virgin olive oil and look after the place that makes it possible.
Tastes like: green almond, artichoke, tomato, fresh grass - a gentle, peppery finish.
Good with: bruschetta, tomatoes, grilled fish, salads - and as a final touch for pasta and risotto dishes.
