Benefits of olive oil
Extra virgin olive oil has been part of healthy eating in the Mediterranean for centuries. It’s rich in natural antioxidants and known for supporting heart health and general wellbeing. We like to pick our olives early and press them within hours, so the oil keeps as much of its natural goodness as possible.
A natural source of antioxidants
High-quality extra virgin olive oil is full of polyphenols, which help protect the body from oxidative stress. These natural compounds are more abundant when the olives are harvested at first light and milled within hours. This is one of the reasons early-season oils tend to taste brighter and feel livelier.
Healthy fats that support the heart
Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fats, considered the healthiest kind of dietary fat. They help support heart health and maintain stable cholesterol levels. Because our oil has naturally low acidity (less than 0.4 percent when bottled), it keeps its flavour while staying gentle on the palate. It’s a simple ingredient that can be used every day, whether for cooking or finishing a dish.
Better when it’s handled with care
We grow our trees using natural methods and avoid chemicals, so the fruit develops in its own time. After pressing, we store the oil in ceramic bottles that shield it from light and help maintain a steady temperature. This protects the flavour and keeps the oil in the best possible condition.
